TCC: Reflective Practice Group (RPG) with a Focus on Assessment

Please join Susan Hall and Melis Kural for an upcoming session titled “Reflective Practice Group (RPG) with a Focus on Assessment.” The main goal of this session is to understand students’ work within the context of their assignments and develop strategies to support them.

Throughout the session, we will use the "Collaborative Assessment" protocol from the Center for Leadership Educational Equity (CLEE) to broaden your perspectives on assessment. This program aims to help educators focus on the presented assignment and understand students' perspectives rather than what educators hope to see in a particular assignment.

During the program, the facilitators, the volunteer presenter, and the attendees will work together to understand students’ work and reflect on ways to support them.

Our first session for the Spring semester is scheduled for March 19 from 12 pm to 1 pm at TCC, with our volunteer presenter, Natasha Chen. We look forward to welcoming our attendees to the session.
