The periodic reaccreditation process with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) is a comprehensive and collaborative process that ensures the quality and integrity of our institution.
Reaffirmation of accreditation occurs on an eight-year cycle, and it is a multi-year process. The Self-Study Report is a major step in the process, and it will detail how we commit to continuous improvement and demonstrate MCC’s compliance with MSCHE’s Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation. Our Self-Study Report and On-Site Evaluation Visit, led by a team of MSCHE Peer Evaluators, is scheduled for Spring 2026.
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) is a global institutional accreditor recognized by the United States Secretary of Education since 1952. As an accreditor and member of the regulatory triad, MSCHE assures students and the public of the educational quality for its over 500 institutions of higher education. The Commission’s accreditation process ensures institutional accountability, self-appraisal, improvement, and innovation through peer review and the rigorous application of standards within the context of institutional mission.
