Craft Club

This month, we are going to create bunny and chick yarn egg covers. These charming little creations are sure to add a splash of fun to any basket or egg hunt.  Craft club will meet:

  • Thursday, March 13, from 5:15 to 7:00pm in the Career Services Library, Room 3-108

Join us as we transform recycled paper towel and toilet paper rolls into whimsical wonders using colorful yarn, soft felt, and playful googly eyes. With just a simple knot tying technique, you’ll have the chance to whip up not one, but two adorable covers! You will also receive two scrumptious Cadbury eggs for your covers

If time allows, feel free to unleash your creativity even further by making additional covers. We’ll have plastic eggs on hand for those extra masterpieces. All materials and tools will be provided.

The cost for this egg-citing event is $7 per person, but hurry-space is limited.

Please RSVP by Monday, March 10 to Pam Rende (prende@westridgeparkapartments.com) with “egg covers” in the subject line.

  • Bunny and Chick Yarn Egg Covers: Three sample creations, a chick, a bunny, and another chick are shown "covering" the tops of three different Easter eggs (two plastic and one a Cadbury Chocolate).  They are made from different shades of yarn and are decorated with googly eyes, felt ears, and other embelishments.
