TCC: Conversation on Tues., Mar. 11 - Intentional Group Work and Active Learning in the Classroom

The Teaching and Creativity Center (TCC) invites you to join colleagues for a conversation on incorporating intentional group activities into your course design. Ryan Clemens, who is from the Chem/Geo department and also leads the collaborative learning commitee, will present examples of group work and active learning used in his classroom. Please bring your own examples to add to the conversation!

When:  Tuesday, March 11, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM

Where: Room 12-201, with remote option join via Zoom

All faculty and staff are welcome!

This event is designed to meet the following goals of the Teaching and Creativity Center's programming: 

  1. Create a culture of critical reflection, continual growth, and collaboration for faculty at all stages of professional growth 
  2. Promote evidence-based, high-impact, innovative course design and teaching strategies that improve student outcomes
