The Week Ahead

The office of Student Life & Leadership Development presents the following events for next week (please share with students): 

Improv for Creators Using Play & Improvision to Unleash Your Creativity 

  • Wednesday, March 5th, 2:00pm to 3:30pm, Brighton Campus Forum, Room 3-130 

Creative Arts is bringing in Mike Whistler to help students unleash their creativity. Improvisation and play are key to unlocking the agency courage and hoy of creating, the workshop invites all MCC students interested in their own creative processes to play with us. They will help you free the possibilities already inside you, giving you tools to approach the world with renewed wonder. 

Open Mic 

  • Wednesday, March 5th, 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Brighton Campus Building 12, North Atrium 

The Student Music Association presents an open mic night! Come for music, singing, poetry, comedy accompanied by food and friends! You will have the opportunity to utilize a piano and electric or acoustic guitar as well! 

Instrumental and Vocal Concert 

  • Wednesday, March 5th, 7:30pm, Brighton Campus MCC Theatre, Robin and Tim Wentworth Arts Building, Building 4 

Creative Arts presents an Instrumental and Vocal concert! Come listen to the amazing tunes they will be creating! 

Other News: 

Travel Club: On Wednesday, March 5th and Thursday, March 6th, the Travel Club will be sponsoring a local vendor who will be selling different goods and items on the Brighton Campus in the Terrace. Make sure to check it out!
