Institute for the Humanities Upcoming Events

The Institute for the Humanities will sponsor two events in the Spring 2025 semester: 

  • Stories of the Uninsured and Underinsured with Michael Boucher and clients of St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center, Wednesday, March 12th, 2 PM to 3:20 PM, Room 5-100, will share the effects of living without health insurance and inadequate health insurance. 
  • Representation in Health Care, with Cristin Finch, cancer survivors from the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, and Susan Dodge-Peters Daiss, Tuesday April 8th, 7 PM to 9 PM, Monroe A&B will discuss psychological, literary and visual representation as it effects body image, HIV/AIDS, and recovery from breast cancer. This program will be available to stream live via YouTube.
